Gold color - the perfect color for a toddler since they love anything that shines! The one thing I loved when I chose the size was they were easy to order the perfect size since Freshly Picked moccasin sizes run true to size. 1. So you measure baby’s/toddler’s foot and then 2. Compare to the size chart. The biggest size moccasins they have is for a foot that is 7.34 inches. At first I thought the moccasins were just for babies, but no, they have sizes for even my soon to be 5 year old. The leather is really soft and since the sole is also leather, I emailed them to ask if they were suitable for outside as well. And the answer was yes. The sole leather is thicker.
The style makes it a really versatile shoe. It can go with anything and everything! They have a big variety of colors - which makes it hard to choose just one pair! The other thing that I really liked about them, as a mom, is that they are easy to put on, they stay on and there are no shoe laces. So, now that you know all about Freshly Picked moccasins, you want a pair? I am having a Giveaway in a few days, so stay tuned and check back soon! (like on Sunday). One lucky mamá or papá will win a pair for their little one. Want to get a reminder? Mueller Lake Park has lots of cool places for a photo session. It's also a fun park to just to visit or go for a walk. I don't have photos here of the playground or kids museum that is close by, but you could definitely plan a day and spend it here. There is also the Mueller Trailer Eats food court where you can grab a bite to eat when you get hungry. The first photo is my favorite spot to take photos. Its perfect to photography children, a bride or prom photos- it's just a fun spot! Here are some photos to take a virtual tour. The grass and plants might not be this green right now; the photos were taken in the summer. Click here to view previous blog entries.
If you are looking for a fun park to visit in North Austin, Mills Pond is great if you want to ride your bike or go for a walk, I think I've seen people fishing too. They have a trail. It's also a great location to take photos of your children or prom pictures. I LOVE taking photos on the swing, that's my favorite spot at this park...perfect for children. The trail is pretty nice too. Last time I went during summer, there were a lot of mosquitoes though, so you might want to go prepared. I took these photos on the side that is off Wells Port and there's another side to it. If you google the address, it will take you to the other side and there isn't much, except for the pond. They don't have a playground, so if you are looking for a place for your children to play the Katherine Fleischer Park is close by.

An Austin, TX photographer, who loves to take photos to document, especially babies and toddlers. They grow up so fast and one of the best ways to remember those fleeting years is to photograph them. In this blog, I will be posting photos of different places in Austin that have good locations for photos or that would be fun to visit. I will also post other things that you might find helpful if you have children. So stay tuned!
